How TeachFX helps teachers visualize their goals and see how you're making progress
Olivia Suchanec, Instructional Coach at Everett Meredith Middle School in the Appoquinimink School District, appreciates how TeachFX allows teachers to visualize what's really happening in the classroom, set clear goals, and see the progress they make towards those goals.
"One of the biggest things that I think is a great positive for TeachFX is that it offers teachers, myself included, a way to hear and see what it is that we can't see when we teach.
"We think we know, but we don't really always know until you look at the data. Or perhaps if you're taking a video, you look at the video or you listen to the audio. If you're using TeachFX, you read the transcript, you view the reports."
"So I think it helps to have teachers visualize what it is before we can work on how we can make it better or what goals are we going to set. We need to have that picture and that vision of reality first."
"And I think that TeachFX is an awesome resource in order to put that reality into context so we can see and hear and read what it is that we do every day."
"I also love in the reports section in Teach FX how you can set a goal and use TeachFX in order to achieve that goal or to work towards that goal, all the while keeping the goal in the forefront and using the reports each time that you record to see how it is that you are making progress on your goals."
"Also, the variety of the reports are great, awesome. There's lots of different things to look at, including student talk time, word clouds, transcripts."
"I just think that with a tool like this at your hands, why wouldn't you just hit record?"
